In August 2023, the Battlefield Line Railway hosted its first Models Weekend after many years without one, this also being the first one on such a large scale (sorry about the bad pun there!)
It was this show that sparked the idea of forming a separate society for those with an interest in model railways in particular, and open its doors to like-minded folk in the local area.
The second event, in 2024, was even bigger and better, with more layouts & traders in a bigger marquee. 2025 will be even bigger again so check back again for further details.
